Engraved Install Contact Plates

Not quite sure if this is the right name for them, but does anyone know a good source for small engraved metal plates (that could be riveted to a 1U rack panel). I'd like to do something nice and permanent with our logo, contact info for service, etc. If it could have a single color too (like blue engraving on a sliver plate) that would be ideal.

Any trophy shop should be able to help you with that kind of thing. I've used the self adhesive type for rack panels and they're still in place ten years later. Laser engraving is fairly common these days as well. I'm going to take a few in next week to see how those look. I'll report back when I get the results.

Rapco, Whirlwind and for sure others do nice screen printing on blanks may work for you.

We use vinyl from a local sign shop. Looks nice and the cost really cheap.
