Re: Freelancers, do any of you carry mixing consoles?I don't consider avid or midas mixers to be JV level. The first venue I'd be doing this in has a floor capacity of 2-300 guests. Current mixer there is a soundcraft lx7 (first series!) and some paltry outboard. The current PA is usable, but is getting upgraded to something decent. 24/8 snake is relatively new. It is more of an alternative arts culture space. A pro 2 has no place there.
