Girls

Re: Girls

Give me your girlfriends number, I"ll look after her for you...
Don't laugh-I've actually heard that conversation. The singer of a "once nation act" (who shall remain nameless) was sitting back stage telling somebody (I assume a friend) that they were getting ready to go on tour and he want the guy to come over once a day and "take care" of his girlfriend while he was gone.

Now that takes some real confidence in your "friend"-and your girlfriend.

That and/or she has a medical condition he's concerned with.

I learnt long ago not to take partners to gigs. I did so 30 years ago and she started screwing the sax player on the side... When I found out about this, I started running the sax through an Eventide H910 Harmonizer (showing my age) so he was always out of tune. Prick...

Gigs are for picking up chicks, or loosing them....

I'd ask which part, but that seems like it's just opening up a can of worms. (kudos on beating the 4 character requirement, though)

Matt, something to think about when it comes to girls and relationships is that it's supposed to be something positive in your life, but it does come at a cost. You can try and stay in touch with whoever you want, date whoever you want, and so forth... BUT- as long as you're out on tour, traveling, and working late nights, be willing to have to turn and be turned down due to your job. It's just how it is.
