Love this justification, though:

the price may appear slightly high to some folks but it is right on the money, I have just sold a pair of effects send-return cables for $4500 to give you a price guide,

This would seem to hold the top position in "Vintage Gear Urban Myth Status" category - and, I don't see it getting unseated anytime soon.

Not much. The directional arrows have worn off the one he has. What if you were to plug them in backwards? The twists would be going the wrong way, which is fine if you live south of the equator but absolutely disastrous up here!
