I have not seen them in person yet, but these things are supposed to be pretty bright. Their other products that I have used have been well made and as bright or brighter than the usual suspects in this area.

If you don't need color mixing, they have two other models that are just the white LED. One with onboard dimming and one without.

I've looked at some of this stuff, but by the time you take the LED Source Four, add a Right Arm to move it and a gobo rotator, you're darn near the cost of a real mover.
They're <$2000 street, which is still a ton of money.

What I would really like is a single 3 watt rgb led with a focusing lense. The adj pinspot is plenty bright but only comes in white (as far as I know)

At $2K it's equivalent in price to a s4 and a seachanger. I was able to play with a set of them at my local rental house and it is a damn impressive fixture. Once you factor dimming soca and feeder as well as a reduction in the total number of fixtures the rental cost of the s4led isn't that much higher than a conventional s4 rental. Then you factor in the reduction in diesel in the genset and a smaller genset and it becomes a wash between the two.
