Go Audio LLC, a full service event production company, located in Milwaukee, WI is looking to hire a full time audio technician.
Go Audio serves a wide variety of corporate, college/university and concert clients. Events include annual corporate meetings, fundraising galas, graduations, festivals and musical performances ranging from symphony to rock at performing arts centers, theaters and large outdoor venues. Jobs vary in size from small speakers on sticks to large scale concert systems.
Potential candidates will possess the following:
- A positive attitude, friendly demeanor and ability to work well within our team.
- A willingness to go above and beyond to help our clients achieve their goals.
- A good sense of time management.
- The ability to troubleshoot under pressure and resolve problems when they occur.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to present things in a clean, orderly fashion.
- Minimum of 4 years on the job mixing experience (preferably a mixture of corporate and concert work, FOH and monitors).
- Experience and understanding of current industry-standard mixing consoles.
- Knowledge of Dante networking and the Lake platform is a plus.
- A general knowledge of video systems (projectors, seamless switchers, distribution) is another plus.
- A clean driving record and the ability to drive 16’ and 26’ non-CDL box trucks.
- Willingness to work a varying schedule which will include weekend and evening work.
Duties will include:
- Setup, operation and strike of equipment at shows and events.
- Prepping gear in the shop and loading trucks.
- General maintenance, cleaning and repair of equipment.
- Assisting with order taking, advancing and site surveys.
