IOS recording

I don't use iPads for anything, so I can't help with that end of the cable... but the X32 has a fully compliant USB output on the expansion card. If there is a way to get a physical USB connection to the iPad, and there is multitrack recording software for it, then yes, it should work.

The Roland unit is not a recorder.

thanks I saw a you tube video of an x32 recording to an iPad but I wanted to verify it before I bought it
do you know if the x live card allows overdubs or is it just recording?
