I have an application that needs a ~22" straight mic stand that is extendable to ~36" but I can't find any in that range. they all seem to go up to 22" and then pick up again at normal heights.
alternately, does anyone make an extension?

Alternately I'm looking for an extension, but that will limit the adjustment range

I've looked at K&M and Atlas. anywhere else?
or does anyone make a fixed 12" extension?

Thanks
Jason

Hello

IF round base is NOT a MUST ...

You could take regular 3-legged stand and cut all pieces to suitable lenght.

Making legs shorter is obvious.
The upright tubes must be cut at bottom ends to preserve the threads.

My 2 €-cents

Atlas makes 6" extensions and couplers.

Alternatively, it shouldn't be more than about an hour's worth of work with a hacksaw (power or otherwise) and a 7/8-27 die to make a standard Atlas round-base stand whatever height you want.

The closest I'm aware of for a round base is the Atlas MS43E - 25"-65" height range.

Excellent.. I missed that one because it is in the "heavy duty" section but it should do the trick.

And thanks for the other suggestions too. I had thought of hacking something up but was sure there had to be something close.
