Good idea, Mac. If I had more experience with iTunes I'm sure I would have planned ahead better.
I've just never run across a program that wouldn't let me access my music. If this were a standalone piece of software nobody would ever buy it!

I use MediaMonkey to load music into my iPhone. However I don't have any music that was downloaded from Apple, so I don't know if there are any problems there.

Spotify premium and offline playlists. Syncs on your computers and phones from their server. Best solution I've found so far.

Thanks, guys, but to be clear, I'm not looking to get the music OFF my iPhone, just to let me connect my current computer to the iPhone without and add more music without having to wipe the iPhone.

I got that, but the easy way to keep your phone backed up and open to all the music on your computer is to have all your music on your computer to begin with. Some of the music on your phone is not on your computer according to an earlier post. If you transfer all your phone music to your computer you can then look for duplicates and eliminate them, that is a function in iTunes. Then you can manage all your music in playlists and put whatever you want on the phone.
