I've got a pair of SR4732A cabs and want to replace the passive x-over's with SR4731A's x-overs and disconnect the baby buttcheek tweeters.

I need your best price on a pair shipped to 61265 zip.

Thanks,

Because the "throw" of the tweeters is so short for the outdoor gigs I'll be doing soon, that I'd rather have the 2447's doing more than just 1.2k to 6k. And for a little more than the price of a 2404 diaphram, I can get the new x-overs.

Also, right now I have one cab with a blown 2404, I knew that when I bought them, but couldn't pass up the price. I also got an additional discount for the blown 2404.

Would it be better to modify the original x-overs?

I would almost say, that if you're handy with electronics, you could get a schematic and just delete the low-pass on the 2447. It's probably just two components, likely a cap and an inductor.

And, I do agree that the baby-cheeks are terrible. The SR4732s always seemed to be more of a high-level, close-range music playback box to me than a PA box. They'd probably right at home in a club, above the dancefloor.

I used to own a pair, FWIW.
