Though often the brunt of jokes about noodling guitar players and engineers gating everything, I just have to say how delighted I was this weekend to work with several students and recent alumnae at the Newport Jazz Festival. I was the monitor engineer on the Harbor Stage, which hosted "emerging talent". These young men were on time, professional, courteous, and knew how to communicate their audio needs. Oh, and they are kick ass musicians to boot. Several of the older musicians could learn a thing or two from these gentlemen.

One of my A2's is a Berklee grad and she's a pleasure to work with. Smart and knowledgeable. Props to their program. Maybe " Full Sail " could learn a few things from them.
