Re: Mac very simple Multi-track playback software
To this point, in our little part of the world, we were seeing a lot of Ableton and MainStage being used by bands using tracks. And more than occasionally, I see Logic being used, too.
While they used them effectively and I can't remember anyone having a hiccup (like we have occasionally at church with Ableton), I can certainly see the desire for a much-more simplified version of a playback program.
I'm doing MainStage in anticipation of a gig that looks to be moving to some backing tracks. Not sure how it will be triggered yet (or by whom).
Thanks, Richard.
Looks interesting, but not sure if it's possible to have separate songs (what I was confusingly referring to as "tracks" earlier) in a list that I can jump to. Maybe with regions, but the user manual doesn't go into much detail.
Since it's free I'll try downloading it and see if it can be made to work.
I would have thought that with all the bands out there playing with tracks (that the drummer inevitably seems to be in charge of) there'd be a simple piece of software just for that very purpose.
