Mackie master Fader

I am just getting back in to sound engineering after not being involved since college. Is there a way to control my base guitar on its own amp with the master fader and the Mackie DL16S mixer? As in how would I connect the guitar and amp to the mixer? My main speakers do not like to bass guitar so want to keep the bass off the mains.

You could connect the instrument directly to the mixer, route it to an aux output only and send that back to the bass amp.
