I wouldn't limit it to sound people. Certainly reveals something of Mackie's perception of the target demographic.

I thought it was great! How else do you advertise a mixer? It's like car ads... Show the features, show the way it looks... Now how to make it memorable?

The idea is to make sound people tell eachother "look at Mackie and how they're portraying us" so that everyone hears about the product. And I see it's working....again. Third thread like this I have seen so far.
