Mid level strobes

Gotta grab a couple mid level strobes. Have a large hall that I need to pop them off the ceiling. Trying to get away with two units. Will probably try to source some used units as price is factor. Just seeing what people are recommending and if LED is an option or if I should stick with the original style. Trying to get some bang for the buck. Dmx control a must.

Used Martin Atomic 3000 is probably the best buy if you have enough power available. They are starting to drop in price since Atomic 3000 LED hit the market.

Sounds good. Im almost certain we will have enough power. Do they require a dedicated 20a circuit for each light? I think we will have a decent amount of power at this location but it wouldn't hurt to be able to use them elsewhere.

I've only used them in 230v-land, and we run each on a dedicated 16A breaker or two in low-power mode on the same breaker.

Yeah seems like 120v @ 3000w would be a bit much for a 20a breaker. Anyone have any experience running these on 120v?

Decided to give the Elation Proton 3k a shot. Was a little more than I wanted to spend but figured at this point I might as well go with LED.
