Hi Ritchie,

Can you tell me if the Pro2 will ever be able to do pre – EQ Aux sends ? It’s very handy when doing monitors from FOH and the work around is quite clunky.

I asked the question some time ago but never got an answer.

Re: Behringer Product Feature Requests

Should this thread be more appropriately titled "Music Group Product Feature Requests"? Bennett?

I was also going to ask that question, although I was going to ask it be called - "Midas X32 and Pro Series - Feature Requests".

One of my greatest fears as a Midas owner was that Uli would blur the line between Midas and Behringer. Sadly it seems he has.

The Pro2 is a really nice board and it does sound great , but I would still like to know if the issue with the AUX sends not being able to be made pre - EQ can be fixed.

Dear Peter, thank you for bringing this to our attention. I can see your point especially if you are running FOH & MON from the same console.

This has been logged as a feature request with the innovation team and they are actively working on multiple improvements, but due to the unique delay compensation that Midas offers it may be some time before the feature is ready. With this in mind I do not have a definitive date or software release that I can quote.

Thank you again for your suggestion and ongoing support of the brands.

Yes the issue is for running monitors from front house. The work around is to use two channels for every vocal patched to one input. One channels is for FOH and the other for monitors.
In these situations delay compensation is not an issue.
I don’t know if this helps or if it is even the problem - but I heard a rumour that the problem may be associated with the number of signal paths available within the DSP. If that’s the case I’m sure everyone would be happy when running monitors from FOH if the direct out function was sacrificed (if that helps) to allow another signal path and pre – EQ monitor sends.

Dear Peter - Thank-you for your suggestions and input, I have taken these points away and I will discuss further with the Innovation team.

Re: Behringer Product Feature Requests

There is a VCA page which you can only access by trackball; the one where you get to pick what's in each VCA, if it's a B section or not etc.

However the VCA button on the strip above trackball only takes you to the naming page. Most/all of the other buttons do two things - push once for files, again for scenes.

So the VCA button could have a second push go to the other VCA page.

I'd love to see the ghost vca fader that Avid has; or something similar. So an onscreen display shows you where the fader actually is when taking into consideration VCAs.
