A lot of you have asked about the new adventures of Richmond Pro Audio as I have been hinting for a couple months that I am re-tooling and am planning on hitting the small to medium festival market in the spring. Here is a quick overview of whats going on:
The heart of the new system are the mixing consoles which are professional quality, state of the art digital systems that can each manage up to 80 channels to mix and up to 24 dedicated mix outputs.
· Soundcraft Si Performer 3 digital mixing console – FOH and A-stage
· Soundcraft Si Performer 1 digital mixing console – Monitors, B-stage and smaller shows
Through various combinations of speakers and amplification, the main speaker system can provide excellent response and coverage for crowds of 500 to 2500.
· 6 JBL STX828s double 18” subwoofers
· 6 JBL STX835 3way, 60 by 40 top cabinets
· 8 Crown Itech 6000 power amplifiers with onboard digital signal processing
· 2 JBLPRX710, 10” powered 2way 100 by 60 front fill cabinets
The B-stage & smaller show speaker system is capable of handling crowds up to 500. This system can also be used as side fills or to augment the rest of the stage monitor system.
· 4 JBL PRX718xlf powered single 18” subwoofers
· 2 JBL PRX735 powered 3way 90 by 50 top cabinets
The stage monitor system can provide up to 10 independent monitor mixes on stage for nearly any type of performance.
· 8 JBL PRX712 12” powered 2way 90 by 50 monitor wedges
· 2 JBL PRX715 15”powered 2way 90 by 50 monitor wedges
The microphone selection consists of some of the top professional models from Shure, Sennhieser, sE Electronics and Audix. We can also provide 2 channels of Shure SM58 handheld wireless mics.

For most shows simple face lighting via 4 par56s on 2 light trees is available. Larger light shows can of coarse be provided when needed.
I am also putting together a portable stage that will be up to 20’ by 24’, and 3’ to 4’ tall and includes elevated stage wings for the speaker system. Hand rails, steps and a full cover will also be available.
