Bump- I tried to sell this last year, here and on e-Bay.. but alas, no takers. So I've reduced the price dramatically.. (like a Dress Barn sale: Women's clothing, half-off)
I'm looking to get $600, but would entertain reasonable offers from my friends here. I'll absorb the PayPal fees but shipping is $15.00 flat rate via FedEx ground in the continental US. Other info and photos are below. Send me personal message here or at ' sdfofny <at> gmail dot com '

Oh, man, what a bummer - this is a really great EQ! I would love to own one, but it's bigger than my apartment and - believe it or not - I don't have anything to plug it into. Best of luck, Rick, I'm surprised nobody wants this. It's practically a studio piece.

Vernier in that context looks like a fine adjustment.

If you've ever worked with old school machine shop tools you would have seen vernier calipers or vernier scales on micrometers for expanded resolution finer than crude markings would allow. Actually a very clever way to fit extra resolution in a mechanical scale marking.

Right, it's a fine-tune frequency adjustment. Good for notching out feedback or other narrow-band issues.
An analogy could be the relationship between the channel gain/trim and the fader on a console... course and fine adjustments.

so you'd point the inner pot at, say, 63Hz and then you could rock the outer ring to get plus or minus a smaller amount to really dial it in.

i think that is everlasting cool. now i need to go find a job that requires this tool so i can justify buying it and using it. :)
