I've put the one point where my experience with SL boards has apparently differed from yours.

The lack of reliability in the ones I encountered led me to "separate" them from my list of acceptable consoles.

I must be a lucky guy, but you know I'm not the only one who has had pretty good luck with the Presonus boards. Sorry you didn't.

I have been burned a couple of times by Studiolives myself, in one case one failed altogether relatively shortly after I sold it second hand, which put me in an awkward position, and another time I was burned by one which reset to defaults losing an entire soundcheck minutes before showtime. Of course those are just a couple incidents - I expect there are many others who have had great luck with them, but it was enough to insert some doubt into my mind, which is often enough to choose one product over another.
