I have a client that has some problems with their system, haven't been able to trace it down to anything in particular yet. They are experiencing random level fluctuations, noise bursts, and the odd channel being muted. Funny when I arrive on the scene the system behaves itself. They do have a presonus SL24, however they also have a multitude of other crap in the signal chain of this system that I'm suspicious of (this is a job done by a vidiot, I got called in to help them troubleshoot & clean up the mess). It's a nightmare actually, they already fried the HF of four speakers until I arrived on the scene and enabled the output limiters on their DSP!! Did I say the main rack looks like a rat's nest?
