I have a fly* date coming up and I am going to be at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC on March 29, 2014. *Unless things gets changed around and I need to supply Sound & Lights; but I still want to get some pricing because I may end up driving the car down with a couple “needed” things.
At this moment I am not looking for anything huge and boutique; I am looking for something to a JBL SRX722/SRX728 rig and able to fill the needs below:
Sound: 10 pc band (4-5 vocals, 2 horns, 2 keyboards, 1 guitar, 1 bass & 1 drummer)
Mains: JBL SRX722/SRX728 (1 stack per side)
Monitors: 4 channels of wireless IEMs and at minimal 5 wedges, but 6 is ideal;
Mixer: Digital with iPad connection (no true FOH, mixer sits side of stage); the band has 19 inputs and 10 monitor mixes. I have a LS9 show file.
Mics: 4 Wireless vocal (Shure SLX/Sennheiser EW300); I’ll fly with a briefcase/backpack carrying the ‘other’ band mics.
Stands: 4 straight round base stands, 2 short boom (snare & hi hat) and 2 tall boom (overhead)
Drum Shield (4’-5’) 5 section type (if possible, not a deal breaker)
Lighting: Basic LED wash to cover a 24'x16' stage. I’m running 4x “Fab5-clones” per side on a random slow color wash.
I’ll be mixing the band; depending on scheduling I can even assist with set-up and tear down.
