I'm working with a group and we are playing synth pad tracks underneath certain songs, and we want the band to be able to easily trigger, fade out, and crossfade the tracks.
Does anyone know of a simple program where one can create a playlist of tracks, and then be able to automatically fade out a track with a single click or keyboard strike? The capability to auto-crossfade to the next track in a playlist with a single click or keyboard hit would be a bonus as well.
I checked out some "DJ" programs, but most have way to much stuff for what we want to be able to do and I'd love something simpler for the band. But if there is a simple DJ program that would do this, I'm game.
Free or cheap is preferable. Mac, PC, or iOS is fine.
