I don't know what level you are at, but I use 3 K10's with a 4th on the way as monitors and the bands love them. These have been replacing Carvin PM12A speakers as monitors. I just do small 500 person festivals and bar bands.

Sure - the cab has a wedge angle, and it's a pretty decent sounding MI box. It has a 75deg conical horn. Fine for JV use.

I've never liked the sound of the K-12, until I used one as a floor monitor. I was pleasantly surprised out how well it worked. Punchy clear, loud vocals. I also use Yamaha DSR-112's, and have to admit that the K-12 was as good. I still do not like K-12's on sticks as mains though.
