Just an update...

We got the Fractal. After listening to it, I've never heard anything like this in an amp-less setup. The guitar player was absolutely blown away. It responds like an amp, and many of the factory sounds are completely perfect out of the box.

I had no idea that the technology had come this far. You can even sample other rigs and create IR files for emulating different systems.

Insane. Can't say enough about this system.

I will say it again, it's the best sounding guitar processor I have heard in a live situation.
Did you also get the pedal board to go with it?

It's a pricey setup but well worth it IMO, when the factory issues software updates you can send it back to them for the upgrade.

The sound going direct is incredible, every note rings out clearly.
