Re: Quite a gun
I sometimes find Hollywierd's rendering of Newton's laws distracting from the portrayal. One movie scene that stands out to me was the cowboy flick, "The quick and the dead" where Sharon Stone was playing a gun fighter who blows away (shoots) Gene Hackman at the end of the movie. He must weigh 100# more than her but when she shoots him, she barely flinches and he goes flying backwards several feet. Apparently a magic bullet that gained force in mid flight.

How the hell can one expend that much energy on one direction without any recoil at all ?.
Have the makers come to a special arrangement with Newton ?.
