Probably was, but I'm done playing nurse maid to fricken musos.... There was an "on mic" call out to the audience for a 9 volt battery for something else...
Change your batteries, or bring your own
Change your strings, and bring some spares
Carry your own F@#$ing tape for set lists, guitar strap repairs and other misc BS.
Bring a working patch cable ( I supply them now, just so I know they will work - they are lime green so they don't "get legs")
I now bring guitar stands cause they are too stupid or lazy to bring their own.
Pretty soon I might as well get on stage and play it for them...
Sorry gents - I'm having flash backs of sat....
Electronic drum kit shows up.... patch it in, drop a/c for the brain.......
me - "ugh dude, where is your a/c adapter"....
Drummer to me - "you wouldn't have one would ya"....
me - ugh, no... So slapping the stage it is for you....
(also said drummer left his kick pad beside my truck, so I'm waiting for that phone call).
*sigh*
All of this reminds me to make a backstage sign for this weekend...
