Sure made my tie in easy though. Just had to wrap my feeder tails around them there metal pieces and secure with vice grips ;-)

What? You don't carry around a set of tails with crimped-on battery clamps?

I used to carry a set with tails. Sometimes this is the only way to get the power.
I did not like doing it-but it worked and never had an issue.
Just make sure you take the strain off of them and keep people away.

I'm close enough to the Texas/Mexico border that I have actually seen Tejano and Norteño bands with modified jumper cable tails. That was over a decade ago, and fortunately the vast majority of them (and the venues they frequent) have corrected problems like this.
