SBA760 vs KW181

Any comments on this ? Is the KW181 a stepup from the SBA760? how can we compare them ? are they in the same leage, (Power, qualitym sound)

Likely a step sideways. Not better or worse, just different. The SBA760 is discontinued.

Good !

I am thinking of either adding more SBA (used) that I can get for 500 to 700$ each or sell the two I have and move to KW series. The main purpose is rentals -- DJ's, weddings ...
For Rock & Rolls event, I have an other rig 6x728+4xQRX212 ...

The SBA760 has a full crossover, while the KW181 lacks highpassed outputs for the tops.

But the QSC tops have a highpass on them, whereas I'm guessing the EV tops don't. Clearly they are designed so you stay within the brand.

This is funny I use QSC HPR tops with these ! finally got some extra for a good price compared to QSC !

I have 1 sba760 that i use for a drum monitor sub on occasion and 6 KW181s. I can say that while the 760 sounds pretty good it in no way compares the the KW181.
