sorry for another 700 mHz question but... i've got 6 Shure uhf-ub mics that i am continuing to use in the available white space from 692-698. and yes, i'm following all the rules, etc. so i should be good there. here's my issue.
these units are showing their age and i'd like to get several of the handheld transmitters repaired. given that they are capable of operating in the 'forbidden zone' [even though i'm not doing that] is there any way for me to get this work done legally? i know the manufacturers are not servicing 700 mHz gear in the US, but since i am operating these units legally below that range, i'm hoping there is a way that i can get them serviced.
