Again, with the old ones, unscrew the grill. The capsule is glued into the back shell and wires were run through the stand adapter to the XLR.
Not much at all in those mics.

If you can prize out the black plastic plate that the capsule is mounted to, the whole thing will come out. If I recall correctly, it's glued in place, but it's just a spot of glue and the seal is easily broken.
There's not much else in there - the capsule, its mounting plate, and a small circuit board with a resistor and a couple of capacitors. There's no transformer.
I'm guessing you need to re-wire it? The wires tend to fail where they go through the pivot.
