I just picked up a FOH job on saturday with this group and wanted to see if anyone has worked with them before... If so, any heads-up would be great! It's a simple vocal + DJ gig on a nice Martin system with an SD9 @ FOH, so I'll (hopefully) have all the tools I need.

Thanks Peter,
I checked out the videos you linked, which pretty much look similar to the other videos I had found on YouTube. It certainly seems simple, I guess I was hoping to see if anyone would have some inside info on what to expect for the vocal channel (seems like I'm going to be well acquainted with the tap delay by the end of the night). Thanks for the help... I'm walking out the door in an hour to head to the venue, a delay in NY has kept the group from getting to DC for the scheduled soundcheck, which is awesome :roll:

So, the gig went great... Really easy act to work with. I'll upload some more pics of the gig & setup tomorrow if anyone's interested. The SD9 was fantastic, hands down one of my favorite consoles to use in that price range. I don't know what others think of the workflow, but I immediately felt comfortable. More to come tomorrow... I've gotta try to get the club music out of my head and get some sleep.

So, I spent about 15 mins here uploading a bunch of photos and writing a little bit about each, only to loose it all when I tried to post it. (This happens constantly if I take more then a few minutes to reply to a post)... it asks me to sign in again and looses anything I've written/uploaded when i hit the post button :(~:-(~:sad:
So I gave up and uploaded them to my blog.

If anyone is interested in seeing a bit more of the system at this club and what went into the show last night, here it is.
