Soundcraft Si3 question.

For the guys and gals that have used this console before. I was mixing an orchestra the other night and the director asked me during rehearsal if there was any way to dim the 4-pin littlites on top of the console. I searched to no avail and could not dim the four pin lights and ended up turning them off. Does anyone know if there is a way to dim the four pin lights on the console? Kind of a boring question but it sure had me stumped! Thanks in advance for any replies.

Defiantly not.... I had the same problem..... we cheated and got different bulbs that ened up dimmer..... Failing that i would unplug 2 of the little lites....

Pat,

You could always try getting the lights like A&H uses, which have a built in dimmer.

I've used bits of blue lighting gel.

Yeah, blue or diffusion gel.

The Allen & Heath lights did cross my mind. I think the gels are the way to go. Thanks for the replies my friends. Why the hell would Soundcraft overlook something like this? It's a five dollar part with a few extra strands of wire for pete's sake.
