Hope I have the right forum for this topic, my apologies if it's not, if so, please direct me to which one I should be posting this to.
I have a CD player, which I have plugged into my mixing desk so I can use a combination of different speaker set ups. I just picked up a surround sound system its a 5:1 so five speakers with a sub-woofer and a receiver. I wanted to know, since I have my Cd player plugged into my mixing desk, can I connect my mixing desk to my surround sound receiver so that my CD can be played through it? From my understanding I just need to use a pair of RCA cables. Advice much appreciated.
