Re: System expansion quandryThe SLS920 is not in the same league unfortunately. The horn on the Mids is too small in my opinion and it ends up being a little honky. The 8's also do fine at low to mid volumes, but when you really lay in to them the mid/high section just outruns the lows. You need a mid bass cab for high SPL stuff.I did something silly yesterday and brought 4 SLS960's in to a 400 cap church hall for a national artist. Loudest show I've done in a while- headliner engineer was pushing 112dBa with peaks of 117dBa at FOH. Best part? PL6.0 driving the SLS960's was showing signal, wincing -20 on the peaks.
