The latest from Soundcraft (copied of their Facebook page)

I know we have been quiet lately but “we're working on it...” updates don’t go down well with you guys! We do have some news for you:
Whilst we have suffered a delay on the release of ViSi listen; this was for a good reason.
In order to satisfy the remote control aspect of ViSi listen (which is quite intensive with a possibility of 14 devices connected at once) we had to pull out of the app development and look into the HiQnet protocol and the console software to improve the reliability, stability and connectivity of the wireless control of an Si console. We had to dig into some really low-level code in the Si which has taken a long time to implement.
<i>The result will be a 1.7 software release coming soon which will dramatically improve network connectivity, drop outs, and console hangs as well as allow more devices to be connected to an Si with improved stability. Following that, ViSi listen and the associated 1.8 software update (gives the console the ViSi Listen functionality needed) will be available when development on ViSi Listen is complete. We don’t have exact timelines yet. We will keep you guys posted.
We appreciate this is a long way from the release times we have mentioned in our previous posts. However, in hindsight, the announcement was premature and we ran into a huge snag with the HiQnet stack that had to be taken care of before we could proceed.
I’d also like to remind everyone that whilst we work for Soundcraft, we are all engineers by night and we know exactly where you guys are coming from with all of your comments; however from an insider’s view, these delays happen and they are outside of our control and foresight.
Going forward we will try to be more transparent and provide updates, even if it is a ‘we’re working on it’ post.
Thanks all. Happy mixing.
