The demise of Uli Behringer

Re: Isn't Uli Behringer still alive?

Ironically perhaps Jobs had success from copying other peoples ideas and making them more expensive.... :-)

John, you made my morning. And the reason that's so funny is that it's true. And I say that with great respect for Jobs and Apple.

In my former work (in semiconductor equipment, not that it matters) we used to say ideas are cheap, it's the execution that's the hard part. Apple executed brilliantly for a number of years. We'll see how long they keep it up. (Their recent acquisition of a headphone brand gives me doubts.)

Re: The demise of Uli Behringer

We closed this thread because it's not good for anyone.

Since the only MUSIC Group employees here make their presence clearly known in their signatures, I can't imagine why the rest of us would give a rat's ass if a few disgruntled employees want to shit on their former boss. Personally I find it distasteful, and feel it speaks more poorly of the ex-employee than of the employer. Audio is a tiny business, public gossip will come around to bite you eventually.
