Tie Lines in Digico world?

Hi there,

I'm trying to create 8 AES "tie lines" between FOH (SD8) and stage (D-rack). Would this be possible without sacrificing 8 channels on the desk?
I know that you can very easily do this on the Soundcraft Vi desks, so that got me wondering if something similar would be possible in Digico world.
You can probably sense that I'm not that familiar with Digico. ;-)

I scanned the manuals, and couldn't find anything, so I think I already know the answer, but you never know...

There is no routing except through processing paths.

So you could do it through the matrix mixer, or use 4 channels (set to stereo) using the inputs and direct outs.

Remember you can assign inputs directly to the matrix.

There is a function called "Copy Audio" in the Setup menu. If think it might be exactly what you're looking for. You'll see a large matrix of all ins and outs and it lets you simply route unprocessed signals between any of them.
