A couple weekends back I had the typical singing drummer who's mic was picking up the snare as loud as his voice. As I was trying to float the vocals above the instruments (they had good 3 part harmonies) all was fine except for the f'in' loud snare in the PA. Dunno if it was his mic as this was a four band festival and this band (the headliner) insisted on using their own mics. I didn't have any problems on another singing drummer earlier using my EV N/D767A.
