I run a very small music venue. We are using a Mackie ProFX16 mixer. It operated normally until earlier this week, when, after getting moved around a couple of times, most of the channels basically stopped giving anything to the main outputs. The only two channels that still work properly are the last two (13/14 and 15/16), which are stereo channels with no XLR inputs. (All of the other channels have XLR inputs.) The signal flows as expected to the control room, fx, and monitor outs. If the gain is cranked all the way with a line level signal I can hear a very faint signal through the main outs. (There are XLR and 1/4" main outs, and the problem is happening with both of those.) Any ideas would be very much appreciated!

Lenny,

The "take a break" switch might have been depressed when it was moved, muting all the XLR inputs.

As the diagram indicates, it is an "important" switch...

It sounds like the main output section might be damaged or loose after moving. Try checking all cables and connections first. If that’s fine, the mixer may need a repair or service.
