What is an A&H ML case supposed to look like?

Re: What is an A&H ML case supposed to look like?

I had to build a caster board so that the lid will stand up.
If you haven't already done so, I'll offer that installing 6ea. casters (rather than 4ea.) on the caster board could be a marked benefit on a case that size. Install the additional 2ea. casters half-way between your existing 4 casters.

+1 on that. It makes it much easier to go over a hump, like where a ramp meets the top of a trailer, and not bottom out.

That doghouse is squirrely looking as well. It shouldn't be taller or have that gap.

There actually isn't a gap, it fits nicely against the doghouse. I happen to have had the board slid out a little to put the cover on it when that pic was taken. It was about an 8 hour affair taking half the case apart and cutting/drilling/painting a new caster board and installing it, but all done now. Time will tell how well it will work, but I would consider ordering another case from them for the money (if they do the casters right next time).

Additionally: Offset them together about a foot toward one end of the case. This keeps the case from 'teeter-tottering' on those center casters when you reach the top of that ramp. Doesn't matter which end of the case goes up the ramp first for this offset to help.
