What Runs your Business?

Currently I use Quickbooks and Apples iCal to handle all my business needs. I was wondering what everyone else uses, if there is any other programs that where more efficient/integrated with booking/billing/all other aspects of our industry. I would prefer something that’s not hosted by a service but still accessible from “the road” (still can be hosted, but on my servers).

As the topic states, what do you use?

My business is centered around Xsilva Lightspeed. Great retail and billing software, but doesn't track rental inventory well. Since it's just me, I can handle that, but would love something more powerful. The great thing is that their next release will allow me to write a specific external database to tie into my rental inventory warehouse and do everything I've dreamed of.

I've played with Daylite by Market Circle, and if I didn't have the retail part of business, it could be made to do everything you need fairly easily.
