Re: What sort of rig are you running? Nice new forum here... Should be good! Here's what I have - and mix & match as needed... Mains/Monitors/Subs 2 Yorkville U15P's 6 QSC HPR122i's 2 QSC K8's 2 Yorkville UCS1P's Mixers A&H GL2400-24 A&H MixWiz Snakes EWI 150' 24+8 100' 17+7 (unknown brand that I modified for use with the MixWiz) 50' ''DAP Audio'' 12+4 (usually used as a sub snake on larger stages or for small set-ups) Rack a mix of DBX EQ's, crossover, compressors, Lexicon FX unit, etc... Mics/DI's The usual SM58's and 57's, Beta 58, Audix OM5, two Audix D6's, D4, two D2's, two i5's, three Sennheiser E604's, four ATM450's, Audix wireless system with OM5, and a variety of other stuff... Radial and EWI DI's. Most mic stands are Atlas... Cables EWI and Rapco, with a few other brands thrown in... Lights A mix of PAR56 and PAR38 cans, and a variety of LED lighting, DMX controller, etc... Love the Yorkville Unity stuff, and very easy (and cheap) to rent more around here as I need it. In reality (especially over the winter with smaller inside gigs), the QSC's get used far more as mains - but revert to monitor duty for bigger shows. Usually this stuff gets hauled around in my Chev Express 3500, and I rent a U Haul 6x12 trailer if I need more space. Occasionally I just throw the K8's, the MixWiz, and a few cables and mics in the trunk of my Saab for a small gig.
