At the club I just stopped working at after about 4 years I was actually able to get them to replace the old PA.
What I installed was
2 SRX 722 tops, run off a QSC 4050HD stereo, bi amped with an RMX2450 for the horns
2 SRX 728 subs run off a QSC 5050 stereo
System run tri
Driverack PA for crossover and various settings
6 Yorkville E152's for monitors run off of QSC PLX3602's
FOH is a Soundcraft GB4 32 ch board
8 aux's, 2 for FX, 6 for monitor mixes
TC Electronics M One for FX
All DBX 231's for eq's
2 Presonous ACP88's for gates or comps
4 DBX 160A's for vocal comps
Sennheiser E835's for vocals
Several 57's & 58's for other stuff
Audix D series for drums
The other rig I work with fairly frequently is owned by a guy that I've been working with for about 13 years now.
It consists of
2 SRX722's run off a PLX3602
2 Yorkville LS1208 subs run off a PLX3602
Driverack PA for crossover, etc.
4 Yorkville E152's for monitors run of 2 PLX3602's
Midas Venice 32 ch board
Aphex Dominator comp for full mix
DBX comps
Presonous ACP88
DBX eq's
TC Electronics FX
Crown 310A mics for vocals
Audix D series drum mics
