Why I love living in Scotland

Re: Why I love living in Scotland

Gordon, the non-Santa Claus gift down the chimney was quite out of the ordinary. Direct deposit, too - not a bag of goodies.

Gordon, got a band from Your neck of the Woods playing in the local school on Monday, Rachel Hair, you probably know her/the trio.

Re: Why I love living in Scotland

I've seen her on Gaelic TV and at Celtic connections, the girl who sings in her trio is impressive you should have a good time. These people are all part of bit of a revival of trad music over here the leading music school has had a degree course available for a while and the results really are starting to show.

Don't know if I'll be able to hear them though, since it is a school concert and I'm not doing sound

Is Jenn high pass or low pass, and what's her slope?

The wife and some of her students are actually taking part in Celtic Connections in January :)~:-)~

It looks as though the pub is totally destroyed, it would have been full last night as it;s one of those old trad pubs where generations of families go and have been going to for years. It's one of the places where the likes of Gerry Rafferty and Billy Connely cut their teeth. Don;t know who was playing but looking at the pictures I think it was lucky so few sem to have been killed or hurt. At least there was no serious fire which probably helped. G
