I am looking to finally pick up a mic for my fiddle--would you all say that the DPA 4099 is the best option for a compromise between sound quality and feedback rejection?

(Instead of starting a whole new thread so as to make it harder for others to find answers in the future, I figured I would just add onto this relevant thread.)

In my experience, yes. The 4099 is really quite good and the mounting setup is first rate. The feedback rejection is about as good as you can expect from a microphone on an acoustic instrument.
