Elation Compu has a 3D visualizer that shows everything the way it will be in reality. As long as you set it up right, it's perfectly accurate.

You may be asking for more CAD-drawing style software, in which case, I'll contact my LD and ask what he uses, since I can't remember.

Edit: My LD says, "Vectorworks 2011. I also use Lightwright 5 for paperwork."

Check out Capture Sweden. We use it with a few different consoles and it works great. It imports .dxf and stuff for the drawings and also does print outs for plots, fixture list, gel list, gobo list etc.
