As other have said, make an X16 a scaled down version of the X32.If you look at the Presonus 24.4.2 the 16.4.2 and the 16.0.2 you can see they all share the same lineage, as mixers, and are cut from the same cloth. An iPad based mixer would just be out of place with the whole lineup.
