Hi all,

I'm a very JV player here -- I'm helping my kids' school musical and need an assist.

I have an X32 and rented an S16 snake to help simplify our stage and control layout (last year, I controlled the board with three iPads during the show... should be better this year.

I have created about 45 different scenes for our show to help with the mic queueing. Did this before I got the snake.

Today when I plugged the snake in, I went to the routing page and set up the rounting to the AES50 outputs and got it working. Then I changed scenes.... the board reverted to the default output routing.

Please tell me that I don't have to go configure the routing for all 45-odd scenes that I've already configured and there is a way to do this globally...

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Kevin

Re: X32 and s16 digital snake question

Use the params safe functionality to avoid loading the routing from the scene.
if you like you can then save the scenes and it will be stored with the new routing.

Re: X32 and s16 digital snake question

I'm sorry, still very new at all this.

Do I just safe all the Mix sends? (Mixes 1-16)

I'm using a Mix Bus (#1) for a monitor send; Do I just safe the "Mtx Sends?"

Thanks very much for helping out this newbie.

Cheers,

Kevin

I see where you are... on the Scene/Param Safe screen. Under "Console" you want to safe the Config, Routing, and Out Patch. I'd also safe the Config of both the Mix Buses and Input Channels. The rest is stuff you may want changed by scene recall (or not).

Recall your scene that had the correct routing, then Safe the appropriate things.
