New Firmware. So we have a huge show tonight with 5 bands playing. Last night we programmed all the settings into scenes and then loaded those into cues. Then I got a text from John this AM that the new f/w was out. We just got a new x32 rack in do I did a test and found that everything worked great so we uploaded from 2.02 to 2.04. Perfect, not a setting was erased or scene touched. the IPAD app and the x32edit worked great. Right now I am running my x32rack in parallel with the S16. (one coming over x32 AES50A and the other of 50B). By routing 16 signals from P16 FOH to the S16 and then the other 16 signals from FOH to the x32rack and then to it's P16, we have 32 channels of P16 available. All worked great. Nice work guys! Now onto the tough question: I was trying to control the X32 from outside the building. I assigned an external static IP and routed it through the firewall to the X32. Couldn't connect. The only thing I can think of at this point that is causing my issues is that I never put a gateway address in the network settings on the firewall. I never had a reason to before since I was routing through any gateways. I think this is biting me now. Thots? (I had UDP protocols routed and no restrictions on ports.)
