Re: X32 rack won't boot from usb to update firmware
Dan - interesting stuff...
I was using the EDITOR to try to quickly help out, and there is a slight difference from the console (2.10) (which I just pulled out of the trailer. *by the way, the x32 at 30 degrees F will boot up!)
First, the procedure I have used to set up the fx rack spaces with eqs for the busses is: (X32 CONSOLE)
-populate the desired rack spaces with the dual eq of your choice on fx main screen.
-select the 2 busses for each eq on the fx main screen.
-turn on INSERT on the selected BUS CHANNELS home screen, or on the selected eq fx screen while using editor, or, -IF- rack spaces 5-8, the fx main screen.
2 different ways to get there, whichever method is easier for the operator. If using racks 5-8, everything can be done on the main fx screen, if 1-4, everything except inserting can be done. I prefer doing this on the fx screen, it's simpler for me.
